UAF published the recording of the referees' conversations regarding the foul on Buyalsky in the match «Dynamo» — «Metallist 192

The chief arbitration expert of the UAF, Nicola Rizzoli, commented on the episode from the match of the 8th round of the Ukrainian championship between Kyiv’s «Dynamo» and Kharkiv’s «Metallist 1925» (1:1), when an obvious penalty for a foul on the capital team’s midfielder Vitalii Buyalsky was not awarded in the 23rd minute of the match.

“This situation is hard to explain, as the «Metallist 1925» defender wearing number 25 clearly attempts to play the ball but fails to do so and instead gets caught on the opponent’s supporting leg.

This looks like an obvious trip, so such actions should be regarded as a foul. A replay of the episode confirms the obvious trip, and the referee should have awarded a penalty.

Based on the video materials available to the Video Assistant Referee and the dynamics of the incident, an intervention from the Video Assistant Referee was expected to recommend a review on the field,” Rizzoli said in a broadcast on UAF’s YouTube channel as part of his analysis of referees' decisions in the matches of the 8th round of the Ukrainian championship.

Additionally, Rizzoli’s comment is supplemented by a recording of the VAR referees' conversations regarding this episode, which can be viewed in the following video:
