Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko spoke about the injuries he sustained while playing for Nottingham Forest, which will prevent him from helping the Ukrainian national team in the upcoming matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifying round against Iceland and Azerbaijan.
«I sustained two injuries in one match, but fortunately, they are not serious. I hope to start training with the team next week and prepare for the upcoming matches. Unfortunately, it happened at an inconvenient time, as I really didn’t want to miss the matches of the Ukrainian national team. I look to the future of the national team with optimism; this team has everything needed to achieve results,» Zinchenko said on the «Vzbіrna» channel.
