Dynamo defender Kristian Bilovar spoke about the team’s microclimate after the transfer of forward Vladyslav Blenuțė.
“At first, when he came, it was during a break for national teams, and when all these news stories started coming out about his TikTok and his wife’s TikTok, everyone initially reacted that way... because he hadn’t stated his position. And when he stated his position that he supports Ukraine, that he supports our military, that he sent his entire first salary to the Armed Forces.
After all that, I approached him and asked, 'Did someone tell you to do this, or did you decide to do it yourself?' He said, 'I decided to do it myself, but people misunderstood me a bit because I posted those videos not because I support Russia, but because those videos contained statements about the LGBT community...' He and his wife are against this LGBT community. They came across these videos where, I won’t name the person, and he made statements against this LGBT. In our country too, there are people who speak out against the LGBT community.
I am by no means justifying him. If you go to such a country, at the very least you should delete all these videos from your social networks so that they are nowhere near there. But yes, he made the decision himself and sent his entire first salary to the Armed Forces,” Bilovar said on Denis Boyko’s YouTube channel.
