Lunin made an unexpected transfer request to the president of Real Madrid

Goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Andriy Lunin, wishes to continue his career in another club, according to Spanish media reports.

Andriy Lunin

According to E-Notícies, Lunin, understanding that he would not become Real Madrid’s first choice anytime soon due to Thibaut Courtois' presence in the team, approached the club’s president Florentino Perez with a request to allow him to join another team.

This request surprised Perez greatly, as he believes Lunin has all the qualities to be a starter. Nevertheless, despite the desire to keep the Ukrainian goalkeeper at the club, the owner of Los Blancos will not hinder the transfer if Madrid receive an offer of 30 million euros for the player.

Let us remind you that Lunin’s current contract with Real Madrid is valid until the summer of 2030.
