Midfielder of Kyiv’s Dynamo Maksym Bragaru, who has been playing for Zhytomyr’s Polissya on a rental basis since September, spoke on the YouTube channel «PROFOOTBALL Digital» about adapting to his current team and its goals this season.
— How well have you adapted to Polissya?
— I’ve adapted quite well; everything happened very quickly in this regard. It’s a very good team, and I was welcomed very warmly. I knew many players beforehand. The coaching staff is also familiar — I was under them in the youth national team. So everything is great with adaptation.
— When you joined Polissya, what goal did you set for yourself?
— Of course, it’s a new challenge for me. I want to play, progress, and get better, show my maximum in every game, and grow.
— When did you realize that things weren’t working out at Dynamo and it made sense to move to another club?
— I had relatively little match practice at Dynamo. It’s important for me to play, so I decided to move to Polissya. God willing, I’ll show my level in every match.
— Is there talk in Polissya about first place?
— Of course, the task is to place as high as possible, but we’re taking it game by game. The next match is against Obolonia, and we are preparing for that. There’s no point in looking at the standings right now. I believe we have many quality, very strong players and a very good team. So, of course, we will try to place as high as possible and showcase our best football.
