A scandalous situation occurred on the eve of the main round match of the Champions League between «Arsenal» and «Atletico».
As reported by Marca, yesterday, October 20, the Madrid club conducted a regulatory training session at the «Emirates» stadium ahead of the meeting with the «Gunners».
Even before the start of the session, the visitors learned that there was no hot water in the arena and asked «Arsenal» to resolve this issue, but the problem was eventually not resolved. The Madrid club’s players, who trained in the rain, had to return to their hotel dirty, where they could take a shower.
Following this incident, representatives of «Atletico» sent an official complaint to UEFA against «Arsenal», as such a situation at such a modern stadium and in such a tournament seems simply outrageous.
