The Ukrainian defender of French PSG, Ilya Zabarnyi, became the anti-hero of yesterday’s away match of his team against Bayer Leverkusen (7:2) in the 3rd round of the main stage of the Champions League.
In the 24th minute, the 23-year-old footballer handled the ball in his penalty area, resulting in a penalty for PSG, which, however, was not converted.
And in the 37th minute, Zabarnyi committed another fatal foul — on Christian Kofan, leading to a straight red card for the Ukrainian, another penalty for PSG, and a goal.
Nevertheless, PSG, even though they were a man down, managed to secure a resounding victory.
