Buyalskyi made it to the symbolic team of the 9th round of the UPL

The Ukrainian Premier League summed up the results of the 9th round of the Ukrainian championship, the matches of which took place last weekend.

Team of the 9th round of the UPL

The selection of the best was traditionally conducted through a survey of representatives of Ukrainian sports publications. Each respondent named three candidates for the title of coach of the round, five candidates for the title of player of the round, and also formed their version of the symbolic team of the round.

The best coach of the 9th round, almost unanimously (33 first places in the questionnaires), was recognized as Serhiy Nagornyak, who, with «Epicentr», defeated «Karpaty» away with a score of 3:1. The top 3 also included Viktor Skrypnyk («Zorya» drew with «Dynamo» — 1:1) and Patrick van Leeuwen («Kryvbas» overcame «Rukh» away and became the leader of the UPL Championship).

The ranking of the best players of the 9th round was topped by Mykola Myroniuk («Epicentr») — the hero of the victorious match against «Karpaty» (3:1, a goal, and two assists). His advantage over his closest competitor — Serhiy Sukhanov from «Obolon» (two goals secured the victory over «Poltava» — 2:1) — was microscopic, only one point (132:131). The rest of the heroes of the tour are at a respectable distance from the Myroniuk — Sukhanov pair. The top 5 included Pylyp Budkivskyi («Zorya,» 51 points), Oleksandr Saputin («Zorya,» 50), and Prosper Obah (LNZ, 43).

Team of the 9th round: Saputin («Zorya») — Stamulis («Veres»), Moroz («Epicentr»), Chobotenko («Polissya»), Kłymets («Epicentr») — Prosper (LNZ), Sukhanov («Obolon»), Myroniuk («Epicentr») — Buyalskyi («Dynamo»), Mendoza («Kryvbas») — Budkivskyi («Zorya»).
