«When Dovbyk receives a good pass, he almost always hits the target. However, he is often closed off by the central defender of the opposing team instead of trying to break free from him. Dovbyk engages in battles with the opponent, and it always turns into a competition — who will overpower whom. He needs to open up more, looking for free space. That way, he will be more dangerous to the opponent,» Boniek was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.
