Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret participated in the pre-match press conference ahead of the away match of the 2nd round of the main stage of the Conference League with Turkish Samsunspor, which took place on Wednesday in Samsun.
— Dynamo is currently under a lot of criticism. How do the players cope with it all?
— I think the criticism is fair, as you can see the results for yourself. But I believe that there are games where things just don’t go our way and do for the opponents. We could say we’re in a bit of a rough patch. However, you see, in the championship we neither lose nor win.
So, I believe that the last game we played was at a sufficiently high level — it just wasn’t our luck. In the team, we are professionals, and we must do our job, ignore the criticism, and try to do what brings us results.
— In four out of the five matches, you’ve lost the lead in the last minutes. What do you think causes this?
— This usually happens; in the last minutes we concede because there’s some loss of concentration, and we concede at moments when we shouldn’t.
