According to Milan Post, after the end of the MLS season, the 33-year-old footballer might move to Milan on loan. The South Korean wants to maintain his top form ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

As a result of the regular season, Son’s team has advanced to the tournament playoffs. The MLS season will end in early December. The off-season will last four months until March 2026, when the next season begins.
