English club Newcastle is considering the option of bringing back Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, reports The i Paper.
According to the source, Newcastle’s sporting director Ross Wilson is already contemplating Anderson’s return, but the club from St. James' Park does not have a buy-back option. To realistically consider Anderson’s return, Newcastle will have to splurge more than £55 million, the amount for which the Magpies acquired winger Anthony Elanga from Nottingham last summer.
Let’s recall that last year Nottingham Forest acquired Elliot Anderson for £35 million.
