Former Kyiv Dynamo midfielder Andriy Bogdanov evaluated the players' actions of his former team in the match two days ago of the 2nd round of the main stage of the Conference League against 'Samsunspor' (0:3).
Ruslan Neshcheret — 6.0
— Three conceded goals, but there can’t be any serious complaints against him. The first two goals by 'Samsunspor' were scored from close range, and the third went in after a deflection. Neshcheret didn’t save, so an average rating for him.
Kostiantyn Vivcharenko — 4.0
— Coulibaly played on his flank. I haven’t seen anyone get 'dragged' along the flank as much as Vivcharenko did by Coulibaly. Very weak defense, and there’s no point even talking about attacking actions.
Aliu Tiareh — 4.0
— A costly mistake on the very first minute of the match... Tiareh had a very ambiguous match. There were moments when he cleared the ball and fought. However, the first goal was definitely his mistake, the third goal was more of a coincidence, but also after a deflection from him.
Denys Popov — 6.0
— You can’t say that Popov made any serious defensive mistakes in this game. 'Samsunspor' didn’t score goals from under him. When it comes to his work with the ball, long passes... It seems none of Popov’s long passes reached their target (3 out of 8 accurate, less than 50%, — ed. note), all went somewhere else.
Oleksandr Karavayev — 6.0
— If Karavayev had scored in that episode into the empty net with the score at 0:1, maybe the game would have turned out differently. But we have what we have... I didn’t see any breakthroughs on the flank by Karavayev, so just an average game.
Mykola Mykhaylenko — 5.0
— The midfield was invisible. Holsten from 'Samsunspor' did whatever he wanted in the center of the field. No resistance. Mykhaylenko didn’t stand out for reliability in defensive actions, and I didn’t see any attacking play from him either.
Valentyn Rubchinskyi — 5.0
— Did Rubchinskyi’s first appearance in the season for Dynamo justify itself? Not at all. I didn’t see Rubchinskyi on the field at all. Constant back passes and very passive play. Though Rubchinskyi should have been leading the game given his No. 8 role.
Vitaliy Buyalskyi — 7.0
— Buyalskyi was the only one in the first half who tried to press and pressure the opponent. But it’s hard for one person to show something on the field. Buyalskyi made a very good pass to Shola when he crossed to Karavayev, who shot wide. I think he deserved the highest rating among the Dynamo players in this match.
Shola Ogundana — 4.0
— You can simply compare the performance of Dynamo’s wingers with Samsunspor’s wing-backs — Musaba and Coulibaly. Theirs tore apart the defense, while ours were not noticeable at all. As for Ogundana: a lot of mistakes, a very high percentage of errors. This is not the game a wide midfielder should show for Dynamo.
Nazar Voloshyn — 5.0
— Voloshyn played at about the same level as Ogundana. Perhaps Nazar’s percentage of errors was lower. You see, when evaluating Dynamo’s attacking players, we’re already talking about the percentage of errors, not any creative action to sharpen the game. This is telling.
Eduardo Guerrero — 3.0
— Should Guerrero have taken on leadership qualities in such a difficult match? I ask you, what leadership qualities? (Smiles). Guerrero walked away for all 90 minutes on the field and walked to the locker room. A striker is a dependent player, but he should offer himself, be active, and here... Everyone saw everything.
— Did anyone from the substitutes impress you with their actions?
— There’s really nothing to talk about here. Just nothing. So, no ratings. I can’t highlight anyone.
