Co-owner of Manchester United Jim Ratcliffe blocked the transfer of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, writes The Mirror.
The current coach of the Red Devils, Ruben Amorim, would like to see the 37-year-old footballer in his team. The coach is confident that the experience of the Polish forward will help young players develop. However, Ratcliffe no longer wants to sign contracts with players whose careers are nearing an end.
It should be noted that Lewandowski’s current contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2026.
