Illya Krupskyi: «Why, if we have VAR, don’t we have side cameras showing the goal line?»

«I just don’t understand if there are even side cameras in the UPL that can view the line. If the referee raises the flag, then why, if we have VAR, don’t we have side cameras showing the goal line to watch.

We had the same with „Kudrivka“ — the same situation. How can we look at the camera from the center of the field? How can it show from there whether the ball crossed the goal line or not? He can make a mistake, he might not see it, but if VAR was created for this, then please, let’s make some side cameras so that everyone finds it easier to resolve such issues.

It’s just emotions, I don’t want to say anything unnecessary right now,» Krupskyi is quoted as saying by the «Metalist 1925» official website.
