The goalkeeper of Rivne’s Veres, Valentyn Horokh, shared how he «turned» from a defender into a goalkeeper.

— I went to Dynamo to try out as a right-back. I was just a bit lacking in speed, so to speak, and the coach said: 'Try the goalkeeping position.' I stood there, stopped the ball a couple of times, and that’s it, the coach said: 'You’ll be a goalkeeper,' Horokh said on the club’s YouTube channel Veres.

Let’s add that Horokh is among the nominees for the title of best player of the Ukrainian championship in October.
