A tragedy occurred in the stands during El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu, reports Cope.
Real won the crucial clash against Barcelona with a score of 2−1. Mbappe could have made the Blancos' lead even more substantial, but he failed to convert a penalty against Szczesny in the 52nd minute.
Following this episode, a Blancos fan, Israeli Igal Brodkin, passed away. The publication reports that the man suddenly lost consciousness. Initially, medical services tried to revive him right on the stands. The fan was then rushed by ambulance to La Paz Hospital. However, they could not save Brodkin’s life.
“My father was a Real Madrid fan to the core. He passed his passion for the club to the entire family; we were inseparable at every match,” the portal cites the words of Brodkin’s son.
