— Denys, at the start of the match you were wearing a protective mask, but then you played without it. Was it uncomfortable to play?

— I only got it before the match, so there was no time to practice. Yes, I have a nose injury, but I couldn’t not play today.

— Did you feel that today Shakhtar’s Brazilians were particularly charged against you personally because of the statement you made after the Ukrainian Cup match?

— Probably, they played with the aim of causing me some discomfort. But this adds emotions to the match, making it more interesting for the fans. I think it was an interesting game, but it’s quite tough to play without rotation. Maybe, somewhere we lacked strength a bit, that’s what I’m saying for myself. By the end of the match, I was already 'blown out.'

— 'Dynamo' conceded again today after a set-piece...

— 'Shakhtar', of course, analyzed and prepared for this match. At that moment, they were blocking me, trying to hold me. They prepared well and acted very smartly. This also applies to the set-pieces near their goal when I was also blocked.

We conceded an early goal, it’s like having a cold shower. So we started playing more emotionally, not as we had agreed. This is a negative result for us, we accept it. But the fight isn’t over yet. Everything is still ahead. We will work and try to achieve what we desire.
