The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, leans towards calling Oleksandr Karavaev, the versatile player from Kyiv’s «Dynamo», for the November matches of the World Cup 2026 qualifying cycle against France and Iceland, former journalist Ihor Burbas reported on his Telegram channel.
Additionally, it should be noted that Karavaev last played for the national team in October 2023 — against «North Macedonia» (2:0) and «Malta» (3:1) as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. In the match against the Macedonians, the Dynamo player scored a goal.
