Besides Dovbyk, AC Milan is considering three more candidates to replace Jimenez

Italian club AC Milan has decided how to address the problematic situation with their forward Santiago Jimenez, who has scored only one goal so far this season.

Artem Dovbyk

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri’s management has given the 24-year-old Mexican until the start of the winter transfer window to prove his worth. If he fails to do so, Milan will part ways with him and find another forward.

In addition, as the source adds, AC Milan’s head coach Massimiliano Allegri and the club’s management have drawn up a shortlist of candidates to replace Jimenez. It includes Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk from Roma, Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United, Joaquin Panichelli from Strasbourg, and Jonathan Burkardt from Eintracht.
