The Premier League and other football organizations in England have decided to limit the holding of the minute’s silence ceremony before matches, reports The Telegraph.

As the source informs, a special working group that brings together various football organizations in the country concluded that symbolic gestures like a minute’s silence and lighting the Wembley arch for global tragedies have lost their significance and have become routine.

Therefore, from now on, the minute’s silence before matches will be centrally conducted in the Premier League and other competitions only in the case of international incidents directly related to football.
