Jamie O’Hara: «Tottenham’s center-backs are stronger than Arsenal’s center-backs»

Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara believes that the 'Spurs' have a stronger pair of central defenders than Arsenal.

«The reason Arsenal is incredible in defense is that they defend as a whole team. Tottenham does not. But they have two absolutely amazing central defenders. If you compare the two from here and the two from there, then Van de Ven, I think, surpasses Gabriel. Romero, I think, is on par with Saliba.

There is no central defender in the world who could do what Van de Ven did last night against Copenhagen. Gabriel cannot score such a goal. They are all world-class players, but I think Arsenal defends as a whole team better than Tottenham,» O’Hara is quoted by Sky Sports.
