Norwegian striker Erling Haaland from Manchester City discussed his skill in avoiding offside positions while constantly threatening the opponent’s goal.
«Since joining Manchester City, I’ve been offside 18 times. 18 times in three and a half years is not bad, I think. It’s part of my game: I hate being offside. I think VAR has helped me even more because I have to make decisions, and it’s simple. I’ve been working on this since I was 13, back when I was at Bryne,» Haaland’s words are quoted by Manchester Evening News.
Additionally, this season Erling has scored 18 goals for the Citizens in 14 matches across all competitions.
