After more than two years of reconstruction, the legendary «Camp Nou» stadium will once again open its doors to fans. Barcelona will play its first official match at the renovated arena on November 22, 2025, in the Spanish Championship against «Athletic» from Bilbao.
According to Catalan media, this date has been agreed upon as the main one, but in case of technical or regulatory delays, the match may be postponed to November 29 — a symbolic day marking the 126th anniversary of the club’s founding.
The reconstruction of «Camp Nou» has been underway since 2023 and is part of the grand Espai Barça project. The arena will feature a new external facade, a roof with solar panels, a modern multimedia system, and a capacity of over 105,000 seats, making it the largest stadium in Europe.
