The head coach of Cherkasy LNZ Vitaliy Ponomarev shared in a comment to the club’s press service about the preparation of his team for today’s match against Kyiv’s Dynamo in the 12th round of the Ukrainian championship.
— We are preparing as usual, analyzing Dynamo’s game. This is one of the flagships of our football, with many players from the Ukrainian national team, so we are talking about individually strong players — we need to prepare carefully, the game will definitely be challenging.
We need to thoroughly analyze everything and convey it to the players so they are 100% ready for this match.
— How do you assess the staffing changes at Dynamo and the game of Dynamo’s newcomers — Shola Ogundana, Aliou Tiaré, Vladislav Blanutsa?
— They have potential. Of course, they need time to adapt, both in Kyiv’s Dynamo and in our championship — they need to get used to it as well. Perhaps they are not yet 100% showing what they can. There can’t be bad players in Kyiv’s Dynamo, so each needs to be analyzed and prepared for.
— Can any changes be expected in LNZ’s game against Dynamo?
— Almost with every opponent in this championship, we play our own way. We will analyze all the strengths and weaknesses of Kyiv’s Dynamo and prepare. We need to use our strengths and neutralize the opponent’s strengths.
