The head coach of LNZ, Vitaliy Ponomaryov, commented on the victory over Dynamo in the 12th round of the Ukrainian championship.
— It’s nice to win, but we need to move forward and work. We earned points away against Dynamo, Shakhtar, and Polissya, but we lost points where we shouldn’t have. We need to grow to a certain level of stability.
We prepared for this difficult match against Dynamo because they have a very high-quality team with individually skilled players. We couldn’t just play them like any other team. Of course, the fact that Dynamo played midweek in European competitions affected their physical state. Whatever we say, travel takes a lot of energy. I want to thank my team for fully executing the coaching staff’s plan, — Ponomaryov said on UPL.TV.
