The midfielder of Kyiv Dynamo Nazar Voloshyn in an interview with the UAF press service commented on the call-up to the Ukrainian national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
— Nazar, when did you find out you were called up to the Ukrainian national team?
— I was at home, just returned after the game. I started packing quickly and went to the station. I was in a hurry, reached there in 22 minutes.
— How is your health?
— Everything is good, I have fully recovered after the injury.
— What do you think about the upcoming matches against France and Iceland?
— I hope well for us because these are very good, quality teams. It will be tough, but we have a goal, and we will pursue it.
— If you compare your mood and the team’s mood that you see now and back in October, how different is it?
— We’ll see after the first training, we can say, when we all gather together.
— And do you personally feel more confident?
— Yes.
