Ukrainian referees will officiate the Euro qualification match for the 2026 World Cup

Ukrainian referees have been appointed to the Euro qualification match for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place on November 13.

Mykola Balakin

Mykola Balakin and his Ukrainian crew will officiate on Thursday in Chișinău at the Zimbru Stadium for the Group I match Moldova vs. Italy. Assisting him will be assistant referees Volodymyr Vysotskyi and Oleksandr Berkut, fourth official Klym Zabroda, video assistant Denys Shurman, and assistant video assistant Dmytro Panchyshyn.

We’d like to add that the Italian team is fighting for the group win, while the hosts have long lost all chances in the qualifier.
