Arteta: 'Joining Guardiola’s coaching staff was one of the best decisions of my life'

London Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta expressed gratitude to Manchester City’s head coach Pep Guardiola.

’I met him at 15. He was my hero as a player. We worked together and experienced one of the best periods of my life. And, again, the fact that I am in this position today is largely due to him.

I thought it was right for me to leave the club, learn from others, and gain different experiences. And he gave me the opportunity to immediately join his coaching staff. It’s one of the best decisions of my life,' Arteta told Sky Sports.
