The disqualification of Chelsea and Ukraine national team midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk may soon be concluded.
As reported by «Ukraine Football» on its YouTube channel, Mudryk is maintaining proper physical form and is preparing to return to the field. There is a possibility that the midfielder will be able to help Rebrov’s team in the World Cup 2026 qualification playoff games as early as March.
The fact that «Chelsea» has registered the player for this season, allowing the Ukrainian to play in the near future, also speaks to Mudryk’s possible return to the game.
Recall that Mudryk was temporarily suspended last December following a positive doping test. In June, the English Football Association officially charged him with violating anti-doping rules. The player was facing a disqualification of up to four years.
