Achraf Hakimi recognized as the best player in Africa for 2025

French PSG defender Achraf Hakimi has been named the best player of the year in Africa, reports the African Football Confederation on the social network X.

Last season, the Moroccan right-back, along with PSG, won the Champions League, the championship, the French Cup, and the French Super Cup. Additionally, the Parisians with Hakimi reached the final of the club world championship in the USA. The fullback played 55 matches for the Parisian club in all tournaments, scored 11 goals, and provided 14 assists.
