On November 20, the draw for the play-off matches of the 2026 World Cup qualification took place, from which it became known that the Ukrainian national team will play in the semifinals against the Swedish national team.
Assistant during the play-off draw was former Swedish forward Martin Dahlin. He admitted that head coach Graham Potter might be pleased with such a draw.
«I think he [Potter] is quite happy. It was four tough choices, but I think he is quite happy to play against Ukraine,» Dahlin said live.
