The 24-year-old Brazilian has a current deal until 2027, so he could soon enter the last year of his contract. Summer negotiations between the club’s management and the player’s agents did not yield results — the Madrid side was not ready to meet the player’s financial demands at that time, causing the dialogue to stall for several months.

Despite this, according to the source, the parties have once again neared a compromise, and negotiations are now proceeding «as planned.» Vinicius remains happy at Real, despite a recent conflict with head coach Xabi Alonso, and sees his future at the Bernabeu. It is expected that an agreement on a new long-term contract will be reached no later than next summer.
