President of «Epicentr» Ivan Chernonoh clarified the situation regarding the change of home stadium for Ukrainian Championship matches.
— Ivan Andriyovych, apart from the winless streak, are there other reasons related to the relocation of «Epicentr» from Ternopil that prevent the newcomer from staying in the UPL?
— Our club officially announced the reasons for moving the match against «Metalist 1925». There’s nothing more to add — November 30 could bring frost and snow, and there is no field heating in Ternopil. That’s why we decided to move the match to another venue.
— How accurate is the media information about «Epicentr’s» plans to build a stadium in the Khmelnytskyi or Kyiv region?
— While the war is ongoing, we are not planning construction in any city. This issue is not on the agenda right now.
— What about the reconstruction of the stadium in Kamianets-Podilskyi?
— Visually, it’s in the same state as a year ago.
— Comment on «Epicentr’s» choice of «Livyi Bereh» arena.
— Not every stadium has functional field heating. We considered several options, but the management of «Livyi Bereh» was willing to accommodate us and promptly responded to our request.
— Will it be limited to just one game against «Metalist 1925»?
— We have registered «Livyi Bereh Arena» as a reserve stadium.
— Is there a possibility that «Epicentr» will play the entire spring season at this stadium?
— It’s too early to talk about that. Let’s wait and see.
