This coming Thursday, November 27, Kyiv’s «Dynamo» will play another match in the main stage of the Conference League — away against Cyprus' «Omonia». Both teams approach the head-to-head encounter after a series of unfortunate results.
The Kyiv team will head to Nicosia with three consecutive defeats in the Ukrainian championship behind them — against Donetsk’s «Shakhtar» (1:3), Cherkasy’s LNZ (0:1), and Kovalivka’s «Kolos» (1:2). However, between the first and second of these matches, «Dynamo» had a resounding victory over Bosnia’s «Zrinjski» (6:0) in the previous round of the main stage of the Conference League.
«Omonia» can’t boast of their recent results either: the Nicosia team’s winless streak has reached three matches. After a draw with Switzerland’s «Lausanne» (1:1) in the Conference League, a draw with APOEL (2:2) and a defeat by «Apollon» (0:2) in the Cyprus championship followed.
