«This has been in the making. For probably two months now, I’ve been saying that Dynamo needs to change the head coach because there was no progress in the team’s play.
As for Igor Kostyuk’s appointment, at the moment, it may be the only right decision, as this coach knows the whole Dynamo system. At least psychologically, Kostyuk will be ready; it’s important that the team accepts him, and he needs to earn respect among the players. However, I do not exclude that in winter „Dynamo“ might appoint another specialist on a permanent basis,» Salenko said.
