Javelin (full name - "FGM-148 Javelin") is designed to destroy armored vehicles, as well as low-flying targets of the helicopter or UAV class. Adopted by the US Army in 1996.
Javelins began to be delivered to Ukraine even before the start of the Russian invasion. In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received several thousand such anti-tank systems.
