FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) expressed gratitude to FC "Sturm" (Graz), with whom our team met in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, in particular, to the president Christian Jauk and the local fans for the warm reception of our team in Austria during the return match .
"Dynamo" greatly appreciates that "Sturm" did a great and high-quality job in organizing the match, and also helped our team in solving all issues and created all the necessary conditions for comprehensive preparation for the match.
It is nice that the hosts allocated additional free tickets for Ukrainian refugees who are currently in Austria and were able to support Kyiv in the stands of the stadium.
In addition, the fans of the Austrian team supported Ukraine and Ukrainians in every possible way, hung up posters condemning Russia's war in our country, expressed their position against Russian aggression, and the head coach of "Sturm" showed the flag of Ukraine.
"Dynamo" also thanks "Sturm" fans, who showed activity and not indifference by organizing a collection of donations to support refugees from Ukraine. We are happy that in such a difficult time our friends from Austria are ready to support our country.
Everyone whom the members of the Dynamo delegation had to meet during their visit to Graz turned out to be very nice, decent people, and the players of the "Sturm" team were worthy opponents, for which we would like to express our respect and thanks.
