Igor Surkis: “I am sure that Zelensky, unlike Poroshenko, has balls of steel”

President of Dynamo Igor Surkis spoke about the activities of the presidents of Ukraine.

“Leonid Kravchuk gave us Independence. Leonid Kuchma raised the country out of ruin. And at some point they wrote on the fences: "Ukraine without Kuchma." I said then that many will remember Kuchma as a president who did a lot for this country. The easiest way for those who do nothing is to simply criticize. When the Russians at one time wanted to use aggression on Tuzla, Kuchma emerged victorious and did not give them such pleasure.

Then we skip everything and reach our main friend. I ask one question - who signed the Minsk agreements? Poroshenko. Tell me, as a citizen of Ukraine. Why didn't he fulfill them? Because I wanted to sit on two chairs at the same time - this does not happen. Act according to the principle of "both yours and ours". And Zelensky, in his spirit and human qualities, turned out to be a man who did not want to recognize this possibility.

He turned out to be not the boy-artist whom they imagined, but a man who did not want to carry out nonsense and give away his territorial integrity. And today Zelensky is sitting in his office, showing everyone that he is a hero. And all his entourage, I think, are heroes who defend our country.

It's my opinion. I am not trying to compliment Zelensky. I'm just sure that Zelensky, unlike Poroshenko, has balls of steel. And I do not regret that in 2019 I voted for him in the elections. Around Ukraine, he rallied the whole world in the fight against such a monster as Russia, despite the fact that they have these shells like I have cigarettes on the table,” commented Surkis.
