Lens, who signed a two-year contract with ambitious French third-league Versailles in July, was injured on his debut against Bourg-en-Bresse (2-0), coming on as a substitute in the 69th minute.

Since then, the Dutchman has not been seen on the field, moreover, he still has not returned to training. According to Le Parisien, Lens trains on his own, doing muscle-strengthening exercises. In addition, he continues to get rid of the extra 15 kilograms that he had at the time of his arrival.

The source also reveals the salary of the 34-year-old ex-player of the Netherlands national team at Versailles. It is reported that the monthly salary of the winger is 30,000 euros (360,000 per year).

It is worth noting that, according to the Ukrainian press, Lens's salary at Dynamo was two million euros per year. Recall that the champion of Eredivize (2008/2009) as part of AZ moved to the "white-blue" in the summer of 2013 from PSV for nine million euros.

Lens spent two years in Ukraine, played in 78 matches (16 goals, 19 assists), and in the summer of 2015 he left for Sunderland in exchange for 11.4 million euros. Further in the footballer's career were Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Karagyumryuk.

Versailles currently ranks eighth in the Nacional League.
