President of Real Madrid: "Perhaps Al-Khelaifi should be reminded what Real Madrid is"

The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, spoke about the possible closure of the European Super League project.

"The story with the Super League is not over. Football must keep up with the times, be professional and transparent. That is why we proposed to create a tournament modeled after the Super League.

The president of ECA believes that our club is afraid of competition. Maybe he needs to be reminded what Real Madrid is. We recently won the 14th Champions League trophy and we are already thinking about the next one," Perez was quoted as saying by Libertad Digital.
