Head coach of Dynamo Kyiv U-19 Igor Kostyuk commented on the victory of his wards over Vorskla Poltava (2:0) in the 9th round of the Ukrainian Championship among youth teams.

We managed to withstand the intensity and aggression of the Vorsk people. We watched their match with Rukh, this is a very aggressive team that is good at martial arts, so in the first half we looked closely at the opponent. And in the second half of the match, we used our chances and brought the game to a logical victory, because we had the advantage.
— Did the air raid warning before the match affect the condition of the players?
- No, we just went to the warm-up belatedly.
— What setup was given to the team for the second half?
- It was necessary to add concentration in the final phase. We created many chances but didn't score. In the second half, we increased in aggression and quality, so we scored goals.
— How would you rate the starting segment of the championship? The team started the season not without difficulties, but quite successfully.
- We continue the process of adaptation, because the team has a majority of young players. They are already beginning to understand how hard it is to work on the football field. I think that slowly, in small steps, we will achieve quality and meaningful play.
— Igor Gorbach started the season very strongly, claimed to be the leader of the attack, but now he slowed down a bit. What is it connected with?
- Why did you slow down? He has scoring chances. Today, in the episode with the second goal, he took the ball away and made an assist. Gorbach works very hard for the team, creates chances. Yes, he doesn’t score in recent games, but I think it’s only a matter of time. He will be our scorer because he is a quality striker.
