From the first minutes of the match, the game moved to the half of the Kolos field, but the guests acted extremely compactly and harmoniously in defense. So Dynamo limited themselves to ball control. As a result, for the entire first half, only Tsygankov's kick from the penalty area can be noted, which Volynets confidently coped with. In the rest, Kolos read absolutely all the ideas of the people of Kiev in the attack. And all the long-range shots of the White-Blues turned out to be inaccurate. So the teams quite naturally went to the break with zeros on the scoreboard.
The pattern of the game in the second half was exactly the same as in the first half of the meeting. Dynamo stormed the gates of "Kolos", and the guests continued to play reliably and smoothly as the second number. At the same time, the Kovalivtsy sought to counterattack, and in the 61st minute of the match they were close to success - it was Orikhovsky who delivered a strong blow from outside the penalty area, and Buschan not without difficulty hit the ball. A few minutes later, Dynamo responded with Lonwijk's shot from the same position - Volynets also played reliably.
At the 68th minute of the match, the situation for Dynamo worsened: Popov was sent off for the second yellow card. So Lucescu's team remained in the minority. But this did not affect the course of the game: the home team continued to attack. But, as before, there were almost no chances at the gates of Kolos. In the remaining time of the match, only Buyalsky's kick from 20 meters can be noted, after which the ball flew over the crossbar.
But in the 79th minute of the meeting, Dynamo had to open the scoring: Buyalsky burst into the penalty area "Spikes on the right, gave to Garmash, and he threw the ball with his head directly at the free Lonveik, but he, punching from the limits in the goalkeeper's area, managed to miss the target - above the gate. Dynamo had the last chance to snatch victory in this match in the 87th minute of the game, when Sidorchuk's cannon shot from 20 meters took place, Volynets, with great difficulty, turned the game into a corner kick. As a result, a draw, 0:0.
After the matches played, Dynamo still ranks 5th in the standings, 12 points behind the leading Dnipro-1, while having one game in hand.
Dynamo will play its next match next Thursday, November 17: on this day, the people of Kiev will play a postponed match of the 1st round of the Ukrainian Championship against Ingulets from Petrovo. The upcoming meeting is nominally a away match for the White-Blues, but as agreed between the clubs, it will be held in Kyiv at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky (beginning at 13:00).
