That match and this one are two different games, two different opponents. Dnepr-1 is the leader of our championship. A team that hasn't had a single defeat so far. I told the guys before the match that there was a chance to write myself into the history of this championship, to inflict the first defeat on Dnipro-1. It turned out as if the mood was right, and the game itself was not bad.
We could have scored more at the end of the first half. In the second half, an equal game. We had moments (twice Debelko) and Dnipro-1. But there were no 100% chances at our gates. We deserved to win. Competitors began to score points regularly, so it was very necessary for us to win today.
I am very happy for each of the guys. For the fact that today they really deserve victory. They showed that they can play on equal terms with the leaders. It remains to make sure that they play against other UPL clubs in the same way. Because there are disappointments. I hope everything goes well for us. The main thing now is to play well the last match against Chornomorets and take a break from the first half of the season. And there we will work hard at the training camp and prepare for the second round,” said Vernydub.
