Karim Benzema announced the end of his career in the French national team

The striker of Real Madrid and the French national team Karim Benzema has decided to end his international career.

“I put in the effort and made a few mistakes to be where I am today, and I'm proud of it! I wrote my story and ours is ending," Benzema captioned a photo of himself in a national team shirt on Twitter.

We will remind that the 35-year-old forward did not participate in the 2022 World Cup due to an injury. Karim has 97 matches for the French national team, 37 goals and 20 assists.
