Belgian Brugge announced the extension of the contract with their Ukrainian midfielder Oleksandr Yakymenko. Nothing has been announced about the details of the new agreement.

Alexander Yakimenko

The 17-year-old midfielder is a graduate of Shakhtar Donetsk. He moved to Club Brugge last summer. Since then, in official matches he played only for the second team of the Belgian club (the Ukrainian took part in 13 such fights).

But Yakymenko also has two appearances on the field as part of the first team of Brugge - in control meetings with the French Lille (0:1) and the Dutch Excelsior (0:2).
