Dynamo Kyiv's youth team continues its training camp in Belek, Turkey.
On Monday, Ihor Kostyuk's team held two training sessions at the Limak Arcadia Football Center. The morning was devoted mainly to endurance running exercises. It was preceded by stretching with fitness bands and massage rollers, which the players, divided into two groups, did right on the football field. The physical training coaches emphasized how important it is to perform these exercises to avoid injury or muscle strain during training sessions.
Then the work with the balls began - players in several groups honed their passes under the clear guidance of the coaching staff. And if football players always like working with balls, then the exercises they performed in the second part of the morning session are usually the most difficult during training sessions.
This is a type of interval running - fartlek, during which players had to run either fast, putting in a certain time on certain segments, or rest, running slowly in jogging mode. After completing the fartlek, the coaches checked the players' pulses to get a clear idea of their functional state.
Evening training was a game and consisted of working with balls. On Tuesday, the "white and blue" will also hold two training sessions at the football center. And Ihor Kostyuk's team will play its first control match on Thursday, January 26.
