Alena also received a yellow card from the referee. Getafe made their second substitution shortly before the break, when G. Villar was replaced by Munir El Haddadi.
The second half began with a flurry of cards, when Rayo Vallecano player I. Balliu was shown a yellow card, and Getafe striker B. Mayoral received a penalty. Unfortunately, he could not take advantage of this opportunity, as he shot wide of the target. A few minutes later, Rayo Vallecano changed I. Balliu to M. Hernandez. Then K.
