Photo: fcdynamo.comFC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) tries to respond quickly to the requests of military units and units, financing and transferring vital things to the front for the Armed Forces. The commander of military unit A4049, who needed a combat vehicle, turned to Dynamo with another request. Club representatives quickly found a car that met the requested requirements and delivered it to Kyiv. And today, four fighters with the callsigns "Dynamo", "NATO", "Rambo" and "Maestro" went to the front, to the hot spot, from the Valery Lobanovskyi Stadium.

— Readers of the official club website probably know that the soldier with the call sign "Dynamo" fighting at the front is my old friend Serhii Filipenko, who is far from 50 years old. During the war, our soldiers have daily needs, and "Dynamo Kyiv" tries to help - from the club president to the average employee. Doing it from the bottom of my heart and considering it an honor.
Once I talked to one of the Dynamo football players, and he said the following: "Before the war, a fan had the honor of taking a picture with a popular football player. And now we, the players, have the honor to take a photo with the military who defend our native lands from the invaders." So now I have the honor, fulfilling the mandate of President Ihor Surkis, to hand over the keys to this car to you.
Just a few words about the history of this car. The commander of the unit, knowing that one of his subordinates with the call sign "Dynamo" has friendly relations with our club, wrote an official letter with a request to purchase a combat pickup truck. And for some reason he addressed his appeal to the name of team captain Serhii Sydorchuk. I also showed this letter to the president of the club, and Igor Mykhailovych, in his characteristic style, reacted instantly, instructing me to immediately find the right car. And adding that he will bear the costs of its purchase. When I asked what about Sydorchuk, the president said: "He can also join, but it should be his choice."
Sergei's choice was expected - the captain immediately allocated some funds. Likewise, forgive me for being immodest, I did too. But soon this amount also increased: during my recent business trip to Kuwait, where, among other things, a book about Valery Lobanovsky was presented in Arabic, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in that country Oleksandr Balanutsa learned about our initiative and expressed his desire to join us. Thanks to this joint contribution, it was possible to bring the technical condition of the car to an ideal level, equip it, repaint it in a camouflage color, and also purchase various food and cigarettes for the military.
That is why such a diplomatic football car came out - a kind of symbol of how we, Ukrainians, unite around a common disaster and how we are always ready to come to each other's aid. This is the key to our victories.

— Thank you to our beloved club, for which we have supported since childhood, and first of all to its president Ihor Surkis. We know that Dynamo Kyiv helped us when we were near Bakhmut, sending us chainsaws, generators, and many other things. We will try not to let you down, definitely break and expel from our lands these raso-fascists. Everything will be Ukraine!
Also, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not left without personal gifts - in particular, each of them was initiated into honorary Dynamo players with the presentation of the corresponding club paraphernalia. In turn, the military promised to make every effort to make 2023 a victorious year for all of Ukraine.
