“I want to understand if some people train correctly,” Seleznev about his decision to go to coaching courses

Ukrainian forward Evgeny Seleznev, whose last club was Minai, commented on his decision to go to coaching courses.

— This decision was planned long ago. I want to understand it from the inside, it's interesting to me. I want to learn something that I didn't know as a footballer.

- Do you see yourself as a coach in the future, or is it just for self-development?

— It could be different. You just know, I always look at things objectively and don’t understand when some people were one before they received their diploma, and then they suddenly change their shoes and become completely different. I want to understand why.

I know that, of course, I will not change my shoes.

I repeat, I'm interested: I want to go through this school and understand whether some people train correctly. I just have experience working with top coaches and I know how it should be. Now I want to both learn and understand for myself.

— Does this mean that your playing career is already over?

- I will answer this way: everyone will soon know everything.
